Alicia Hornyak is a distinguished Vice President at Coldwell Banker Commercial SC, where she plays a pivotal role in the CBC-SC Retail Division. With a specialized focus on the sales and leasing of retail and industrial properties, Alicia has developed a reputation for her meticulous attention to detail and a relentless commitment to exceptional client service.

Beginning her career in the real estate sector in 2007, Alicia honed her expertise in residential short sales before making a strategic shift to commercial real estate in 2011. Her initial assignment involved revitalizing a struggling retail center in San Bernardino, CA, which boasted a mere 10% occupancy rate. Demonstrating her adept skill in commercial leasing, Alicia remarkably boosted the center’s occupancy to over 85% within just one year.

Alicia has expanded to the industrial development market with the sale of 5610 Market Street in Rubidoux in December of 2020, and 11205 Cedar Avenue in Bloomington in April of 2021. 

Alicia’s extensive experience encompasses a wide range of retail specialties, allowing her to manage numerous lease transactions successfully. Her impressive roster of clients includes diverse businesses such as Boost Mobile, various gym franchises, local restaurants, churches, uniform specialty shops, and fashion retailers.

Her academic credentials are equally impressive, highlighted by a Master in Commercial Property (MICP) certificate she earned from the prestigious Mike Lipsey School of Real Estate. Beyond her professional endeavors in real estate, Alicia is also a seasoned entrepreneur, co-owning a thriving restaurant with her husband for over a decade, now with a second location opened in the past few years.

Residing in Eagle Rock, Alicia enjoys an active lifestyle that includes hiking, biking, and participating in fitness classes, reflecting her dynamic approach to both her personal and professional life.
