San Diego, CA –  Coldwell Banker Commercial Sudweeks Group is pleased to announce that Cheryl McVay has joined the firm as a Senior Asset Manager. Ms. McVay will be responsible for management, operations, operating and capital budget development, and staff training in San Diego and the Inland Empire. Her vast experience and outstanding relationships with owners, tenants and third party realty advisors provide a strong foundation for adding value to assets.

Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Commercial, Ms. McVay was a Senior Property Manager for Colliers International for over 10 years, where she led a team of professionals that managed a diverse portfolio of retail, industrial and office assets. Her responsibilities included: tenant and client relations, lease renewals, vendor contracts and compliance, tenant improvements, property acquisitions and dispositions. She was the corporate liaison for property management for the San Diego region.

During her career, Ms. McVay has completed various building and tenant improvements including tenant restoration of a 115,000 Class A office building for a Fortune 500 Company, termite tenting of a 60,000 square foot retail center, mechanical plant replacement, fire life and safety upgrades, and exterior landscape upgrades including the replacement of a 100′ retaining wall. Most recently, Ms. McVay played a critical role in the $22M renewal of a defense industry tenant. She has been the recipient of several Employee of the Year awards as well as BOMA award for Office Building of the Year.
